U9 Pre-skates: get your skates ready!

We are excited to offer “optional” pre-skates for U9 players, designed to provide a fun and enriching experience on the ice. Here's what you need to know:

What are Pre-Skates?

Pre-skates are sessions focused on enhancing fundamental skills such as skating, puck control, passing, and shooting. These skates introduce individual tactics and team play, giving players the chance to grow in all positions.

Why Are They Important?

Hockey Sask requires U9 players to have a minimum of four skates or practices before formal evaluations. These early experiences are crucial for developing basic skills and building confidence. A positive start in hockey can foster a lifelong love for the game.

The Comets are thrilled to offer these “optional” pre-skates to help your daughter prepare for the upcoming hockey season. These sessions are a fantastic way to get back on the ice and build excitement. Your daughter is already registered!
