ANNOUNCEMENT: The Saskatoon franchise for the SMFAAAHL has a new identity. The SASKATOON AAA STARS will continue wearing the green and white colors but will carry a new logo on new jerseys. The program is now run by its own Board of Directors, with representation from the Saskatoon Comets, Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association, and others with a broad range of hockey knowledge and experience. The Board of Directors is excited to introduce this new look for the team and to begin promoting elite female hockey at the Midget level. SASKATOON AND DISTRICT FEMALE HOCKEY
Applications are now being accepted for the Head Coach positions for the Bantam AA and Midget AA hockey clubs. These teams will represent the Saskatoon Comets in Division I of the North Saskatchewan Female Hockey League. Application forms can be located on the Saskatoon Comet website www.cometshockey.ca Minimum of Development Level I Coaching certification required. Previous experience coaching female players at an elite level an asset. Interested persons are requested to send applications and resumes to Saskatoon and District Female Hockey, 447 Poth Way, Saskatoon, Sask., S7M 4V8. An interview may be required. Deadline for applications is Aug 15, 2008. |
